When a hijacked airliner hit the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, nearly 200 people lost their lives. Roush Fenway driver Carl Edwards will honor those victims and one of America's finest military heroes, when he drives the #60 Fastenal / Honoring Our Heroes Ford Mustang at Richmond on September 9.
A gold wireframe rendering of the Pentagon wraps around the rear of the bright blue Ford Mustang. The car also carries a tribute on the rear deck lid to U.S.M.C. Corporal John Peck. Peck lost both arms and legs when he was hit by an IED while on patrol in Afghanistan.
A portion of the proceeds from all diecast sales benefits the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and their efforts to build a "smart home" for Peck and other severely wounded U.S. servicemen.
