Charismatic and legendary are two words that perfectly describe 55-time race winner Rusty Wallace, who was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame this year as part of the Class of 2013.
In 1994, the first year that Penske Racing competed in a Ford, Wallace wheeled the car he nicknamed "Midnight" - the #2 Miller Genuine Draft Ford Thunderbird. As one of the most well-known cars in the history of NASCAR, "Midnight" will sit in the Hall of Honor. This single chassis, PSC-0009, produced a total of 18 wins during the 1993 and 1994 seasons. To this day, the car accounts for almost 20 percent of Penske South's total Cup series wins.
Lionel NASCAR Collectables is proud to present the die-cast of "Midnight" - Wallace's #2 Miller Genuine Draft Ford Thunderbird that was enshrined at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in February 2013 and sits proudly in the Hall of Honor.
