This is the 2003 Richie Evans Tribute / special paint scheme of Martin Truex Jr's #8 Chance 2 / Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Truex Jr and Chance 2 Motorsports paid tribute to the late Richie Evans, recently named The Greatest NASCAR modified driver. This car was driven in the Little Trees 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway on October 11, 2003. The diecast replica includes a background feature story as to the reasoning behind the tribute, personally authenticated by Dale Earnhardt Jr.
