This is the "Collision Course" special paint scheme of Dale Earnhardt Jr's #8 (Budweiser) Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This car was driven in the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 30, 2004. As part of a creative effort in linking NASCAR with boxing, Budweiser ran a "Collision Course" program featuring Oscar De La Hoya vs. Felix Sturm and Bernard Hopkins vs. Robert Allen. Both boxing matches were held on June 5th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This was a ground-breaking cross-promotion between two of the fastest growing sports industry’s today.
