This is the "Orange - Throwback" special paint scheme of Mark Martin's #6 (Viagra) Ford Taurus. This car was driven in the Checker Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on November 13, 2005. In 1981, Martin began his pursuit to enter the world of NASCAR with Banjo Grimm and Ray Dillon as they teamed up for a 5-race effort. Martin, who was funding the team out of his own pocket, desired to win his first stock car race. The result of their three-man team produced the #02 orange and white car that made its debut at one of NASCAR's most well known short tracks, North Wilkesboro, on April 5, 1981.
