We were in the lead lap and then with around 10 laps to go the caution flag comes out and Richard (Childress) comes on the radio and says, "stay out there and we’ll get a good top-10 finish". Dale said, "I didn’t come here for a Top 10...I came to win...get four tires ready I’m comin’ in"...We were the only car that pitted...we didn’t look like we had a chance but we never gave up.
